This enables patients to cancel their appointment which can then be filled automatically, thereby greatly reducing missed outpatient appointments and significantly improving the efficient throughput of outpatients and cutting waiting lists. The solutions also replace hard copy, paper letters with digital correspondence sent to the patient's mobile device.
The system also provides vital management information and timely information on the quality, efficiency and outcomes by consultant, specialty and hospital. It also provides patient satisfaction data and gives hospitals feedback on the patient experience. It is can also be used to schedule nursing staff in the hospital.

The current Premapp Limited product comprise six key modules
An interactive SMS solution used to validate waiting list patients. Patients on the waiting list are messaged asking them to reply "Yes" or "No" to a question asking if they still require an appointment. If the response is "No", the patient receives a message stating that they are removed from the waiting list. If "Yes", the patient receives a message stating that they will receive an appointment in due course. The results are presented to a dashboard for the administrators to use to update the appointment system.
A workflow based waiting list allocation and interactive SMS solution used to allocate waiting list patients to appropriate clinic or diagnostic appointment slots. A logic based workflow matches patients with slots and automatically sends an appointment offer via interactive SMS. Patients on the waiting list are messaged with an appointment offer asking them to reply "Yes" or "No" to a question about accepting the allocated slot. If the response is "No", the patient receives a message stating that they will remain on the waiting list and be offered an alternative. If "Yes", the patient receives a message confirming the appointment. The results are presented to a dashboard for the administrators to use to update the appointment system.
A workflow based Interactive SMS solution that messages patients at 2 or more points in time in advance of their outpatient appointment and asks them to respond "Yes" or "No" to a question regarding their intent to attend their appointment. Where the patient responds "No" the appointment can be cancelled and potentially offered out to patients on the waiting list. Other automated actions (SMS or email) can also be triggered, for example, messaging transport not to go and pick up the patient, messaging any translators arranged to attend, messaging the Medical Records Dept to tell them not to pull the patient notes etc.
When a patient cancels their appointment via PREMAPP DNA, the vacated appointment can automatically be offered out to patients on the relevant waiting list. A 2-way SMS is sent to between 1 and 3 (or a specified number) of waiting list patients offering them the appointment and asking them to reply "Yes" if they would like to take it. The first patient to respond "Yes" is allocated the appointment, the other patients receive an automated SMS stating they have been unsuccessful at this time, but they will be contacted in due course regarding an appointment.
An SMS solution targeted at reducing hard copy, paper correspondence from hospitals by replacing the paper copy with a digital version sent to the patient's mobile handset. An SMS with a URL is sent to the patients mobile, the patient selects the URL, enters their date of birth and then has access to a web page showing a digital version of the hard copy letter they would have received. Functionality can be built into the page to enable the collection of responses (i.e., cancelling / rearranging appointments, survey / questionnaire answers etc.).
An interactive SMS solution to assist a hospital fill a clinic or a mobile service that has been set up at short notice. Patients receive an SMS with an appointment date and time and are asked to reply "Yes" or "No" regarding their availability to attend.
An interactive SMS solution used by the hospital when a clinic needs to be cancelled at short notice. A message is sent to all relevant patients saying the clinic is cancelled and asking them to reply "Yes" or "No" to a new allocated appointment date and time.
An interactive SMS solution designed to assist hospitals with insourcing nursing (or other clinical) resources. Instead of the hospital calling in nurses to cover shifts from an expensive, external nurse bank a message can be sent to staff nurses asking for them to respond "Yes" or "No" if they would like to take the shift available. The first nurse to respond "Yes" is allocated and the remaining nurses are sent an automated SMS letting them know they were unsuccessful.
